We bought a white dresser from Land of Nod about 5 years ago for my daughter.  However, we completely remodeled her room last year (you can see the reveal here), and we no longer needed the dresser.  But, I couldn’t bring myself to sell it, and I knew I could make it work in our new guest room…with a little drawer hardware change.

I bought some great, oil rubbed bronze drawer pulls from Home Depot. You can only order them online, but you can ship them to the store for free. These were an easy swap for the white wood knobs (they both have only a single screw, so no drilling needed).

After

And, here is the new and improved dresser!

I really love the new look, because it doesn’t look like a kids dresser anymore. It’s amazing how a drawer hardware change can totally improve the look of a piece of furniture. And, it gets me one step closer to matching the picture of my inspiration room from Fixer Upper.

So if you have a dresser or piece of furniture that needs a little updating, consider making a drawer hardware change! It’s doesn’t cost a lot, and can really change and improve the look of your furniture!
